custom portraits & paintings

Commissions are open! Using your reference photos, I’ll create an original painting in the style you choose. I’ll email you a high-resolution, print-ready digital file, along with a smaller version for the web.

I approach digital painting just as I would a traditional painting – I’m still painting by hand, and the amount of time and skill is the same. Instead of a brush, I use an Apple Pencil (my magic wand!), a 12.9” iPad Pro, and Procreate.

Send me at least one clear, high-quality photo of the subject. Good lighting is key. Multiple photos are helpful. If you can’t decide on the image, I can help you choose.

What kind of painting are you looking for? Let me know if there is a specific style in my portfolio you prefer (such as canvas texture/oil paint look), or if there are any colors you’d like me to incorporate into the background.

Payment

Once we’ve decided on your commission, you can (1) pay in full upfront, or (2) pay 50% upfront, and 50% before I email the final file. If you pay upfront, I’ll include a small cartoon of your pet for free!

I accept payment via PayPal or Venmo. All payments are nonrefundable.

Delivery

Depends on my schedule, but typically 1-2 weeks. I prioritize commissions that are paid upfront.

Upon completion, all artwork is delivered as a high-resolution (300dpi) file via email. You can print the portrait yourself, or order high-quality canvas prints on sites like Snapfish, Canvaspop, or Costco’s photo center.

Copyright

I retain all rights to the artwork, and reserve the rights to share any paintings in my portfolio, on social media, etc. If a portrait is a gift or surprise, I can until a certain date to share. No commercial rights are granted unless otherwise discussed. If you would like to use my artwork for your business or commercial purposes, please contact me.
